Welcome

We are really pleased to welcome you to our school, whether you are just looking at the moment, or whether you have decided and agreed with us to send your child to Burley St Matthias.  There is lots of information on our website whch should give you a good flavour of our school, our ethos, philosophy, curriculum, Ofsted reports etc.  This page has particular information for those considering joining our school family

Virtual Tour of the School

Here is a video tour and introduction to our school.  It's not the most slick, professional video in the world, but it's real and it's honest and that feels more like 'us'.  Hope this is helpful.

COVID-19 Safety measures

School is operating differently from normal at the moment and this video just goes through the safety measure we have in place.  The full risk assessment is on our website homepage.  Practically, the main thing you need to be aware of is the different start and pick up times:

Even Classes (Reception, Year 2, Year 4, Year 6): Start 8:45am, Finish 3pm

Odd classes (Year 1, Year 3, Year 5): Start 9am, Finish 3:20pm

If you have siblings with different start and finish times you can bring them at the 8:45am and pick them up together at 3:20pm

We thank all our families for your patience and cooperation at this challenging time for everyone.
