Welcoming children to Burley St Matthias in September 2026!

We are excited to start our admissions process for September 2026 and would like to invite prospective parents to visit our school and see what we have to offer! We have lots of open day sessions for you to come and meet our staff, take a look at our school and make sure you feel comfortable when making your choice for your child's reception place for September 2026.

We try to avoid too much of a staggered start. We work hard to get to know you and your child before the start, so that we are as ready as possible to settle them in from the start of term. We arrange lots of visits to school, will do a home visit and will link in with our support staff throughout the admissions journey to make sure we can provide the right staff, the right environment and the right support as soon as we can. Your start date will be shared with you before the summer holidays so can feel prepared and ready for September 2026.

We have a large outdoor area and our reception class have Forest School every week! The children have a great time learning outside with our Forest School teacher Miss Osborne!

Applying for your school place with Leeds City Council
