Cleaner Vacancy

When                         20 hours per week (or job share of 10 hours per person x 2 people)

Contract Type         Permanent after successful probationary period.

Pay                             £12.65 per hour - 20 Hours per week/10 hour per week two positions

 

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking person to join our site team at Burley St Matthias.  We work hard to maintain and improve our building, keeping it safe and clean for our children, staff and visitors, the successful person will need to have high standards.

🧼 Duties Include:

Cleaning classrooms, toilets, and communal areas
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting
Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards
Reporting any damage or safety issues

We’re Looking For:

§  Reliable and punctual individuals

§  Able to work independently

§  Cleaning experience is a bonus (but not required)

§  Must be willing to undergo a DBS check

§  Ability to read and understand policies, cleaning product guidance and staff notices.

You will need to be aware of, and comply with, policies and procedures relating to child protection, inclusion, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. Lunchtime Assistant Vacancy

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for lunchtime staff at our school! If you are interested in joining our team, please read the following information regarding the role, and apply using the attached form or by collecting an application pack from the school office!

When?                       12.15pm to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, during school term time only

Contract Type?       Permanent following probationary period

Pay?                          £12.65 per hour, 5 hours per week

Do you enjoy working with children?  Would you like a term time job which enables you to work for just an hour over lunchtime?  Are you looking for experience in a local school setting? Come and join our friendly team!

You will work as part of a team to support pupils over the lunchtime period.  You will be good at making positive relationships with the children and can demonstrate your skills in the following areas:

·         Supporting pupils while they eat their lunch, cutting up food for pupils and making sure tables are clean and that water is available, and ensuring standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained

·         Lead the children in suitable playground games and activities

·         Be vigilant throughout the lunch break to ensure pupils are safe

·         Ensure that the school’s behaviour policy is followed and deal with incidents of inappropriate behaviour consistently and fairly

·         Deal with accidents in a timely manner, applying first aid when necessary, reporting accidents to the Midday Supervisor, completing the necessary paperwork

·         Be supportive of other Lunchtime Assistants and be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team

You will need to be aware of, and comply with, policies and procedures relating to child protection, inclusion, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. Full training and induction will be given.  Excellent communication skills are required to ensure understanding of procedures, accurate recording of information and completion of training.
