We are an inclusive school, which reflects the local community and we are proud of how well pupils with different needs respect, achieve and look after each other.  Over the years we have welcomed children with a number of disabilities and conditions, as well as numerous learning needs and all have added richly to the tapestry of school life.   All pupils have equal rights of entitlement to a broad and rich curriculum, and to the support they needs to allow them to fulfil their potential. All children have the entitlement to participate in the life and work of the school to the best of their abilities, whatever their needs. From September 2025 our SENDCO is Mrs St Rose, supported by our Pastoral Officer, Mrs Webb. Our designated teacher for Looked After Children is Mrs St Rose. NURTURE PROVISION

In January 2024 we began the exciting work of planning nurture classrooms for pupils in both the North and South buildings of our site. In September 2024 we launched the Key Stage 2 nurture classroom and children are really enjoying using this fantastic space in school. In September 2025 we launched the Key Stage 1 nurture classroom and calm space, which is also an amazing resource to be able to offer our pupils.

If you are the parent of a child with SEND, and you have a complaint about the support provided by the school, please contact Mrs St Rose, the SENDCo, in the first instance. Full details of the complaints procedures can be found on the policies page of our website.

SEND Support for Parents

We offer support to our parents through our class teachers and also our SENDCo, Mrs St Rose. We host regular coffee mornings, parents can speak to the SENDCo at parents evenings and are able to make appointments through the school office to discuss their child's needs at any point.
