Welcome to Christmas at Burley St Matthias!

We have lots of fun activities coming up to celebrate Christmas! We will keep this page updated with what is happening in school over the coming weeks, we appreciate it is a busy time for everyone!

What are we raising money for?

This year, our fundraising is going towards IT and equipment for the children, our chromebooks are starting to come to the end of their life and we are keen to renew our technology which is expensive!

Christmas Fair - Friday 05 December

Our Christmas Fair will be on Friday 05 December from 3.30pm in the key stage one building. We will be hosting a range of stalls, including raffles/tombola, book stalls, refreshments and baking, and so much more!

We will also be having a visit from Santa which will be limited due to time and space so keep an eye out for tickets which will be on sale soon!

Non Uniform Day - Friday 21 November

Christmas Dinner 2025

Our wonderful cook and her team will be making a delicious feast for our school on THURSDAY 11 December! If you would like your child to have a school dinner on this day, please use our School Grid system to book them on or call the school office. All children are welcome to have a dinner if they normally have a packed lunch (it is £2.75 if you're not eligible for school meals).

Christmas Jumper Day Thursday 11 December

We will be hosting our Christmas Jumper day on Thursday 11 December! Children can come to school in their uniform but switch their school jumper for a festive Christmas jumper!

Donations towards the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas are appreciated!

Thursday 18 December - Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6.

Friday 19 December - Year 3 and Year 4.
