Maths Curriculum
The current National Curriculum for Mathematics came into force in September 2014.
To stretch our ambition for children's acheivment in mathematics and to support their learning we have invested in White Rose Maths and the Power Maths Scheme whcih work together. This scheme offers particularly good support for remote learning and builds on the mastery approach to learning that we have been following in school since 2015.
Below is the calculation policy for the four rules of number which explains how we teach these as children progress.
